This is the personal blog of Maruti Nandan Upadhyay. The blog aims to highlight issues of general civil interest and also ponders philosophical and metaphysical aspects of them with the lens of long term impact on society and humanity.
We are at such a crossroad where the intellect is contestable and is being reduced to algorithmic and probabilistic output with greater adoption of generative AI. It is evident that soon the internet and probably all sorts of mediums of expression will be flooded by the AI slops and it will be hard for us to distinguish between what was actually written or thought by an individual vs what was created by Gen AI tools.
This blog is being started as an attempt by the author to keep writing and engage critical thinking to evaluate and ponder. In short it is an attempt to be human when what it means to be a human is itself under question.
Further, aim of the blog is not to comment or critique just for the sake of it but also to come up with the logic behind it and find solutions that sometimes might be evident and at others be elusive.
